These long-lasting tips are made with high quality 409L, which is a magnetic stainless that has been used in the automotive industry for years, then we triple plate with two layers of nickel and one layer of chrome to insure the adhesion and finish quality is the best in the industry. We then went one step further and did heat tests and had a ASTM B368 Copper-Accelerated Acetic Acid Salt Spray Test done in a chemical laboratory so that our customers would know that our CS stainless chrome stands alone when it comes to appearance and durability. The heat test shows no discoloration of the finish that you typically see in polished stainless and the Salt Spray Test shows that our tips will last more than twice as long as traditional chrome in the same conditions, giving you the best of both worlds, the beautiful high gleam of chrome and the rugged durability of stainless.
